Marvel Allen American singer,was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. At 17 years old Marvel was the youngest recording artist on SalSoul Records,She has done everything from recording commercial jingles and film (the controversial "Beulah Land") to performing as a background vocalist for studio recordings and live performances. She has provided background vocals for numerous artists including Regina Belle, Will Downing, Annie Lennox, and Delfeayo Marsalis.
